Day four is a wrap.

We ended the fourth day of photography and added our 21st cheeseburger to the wall. It's hard for the average blog reader to understand how much and how hard of work this is. The team sort of hit a wall this afternoon. Noticing that everyone was starting to drag, Scott quickly fired up the Ukrainian pop music. Vanessa broke out her dance moves including, The BeyoncĂ©, The Robot, The Moon Walk and a few I haven't yet identified. Needless to say we finished the day very strong.

Kitchen or Meth Lab?

At the speed this crew cranks out sandwiches, the kitchen starts to resemble a meth lab at around 4 p.m. each day. Scott and Sandie spend a couple of hours cleaning every night so we are ready to roll in the morning. Thanks for all the elbow grease guys.

Vanessa offers Christina some constructive feedback on the danger of starting fires in the oven and burning the garlic.

4-1/2 Pounds of Love

Imagine the weight if this baby was a full build.

Watching Vanessa and Tom work on set is like watching a episode of M.A.S.H.

Tom's nickname for the day is "The Macho Nacho."

It's a rainy day at the Cheeseburger Factory.

Making good progress. We finished the pizza burger and an onion burger this morning. Vanessa is building "The Big One" as we speak. Andrea is getting a ton of work done – some sort of billing worksheets.

Pizza Burger. Check.

Onion Burger. Check.

Andrea. Check.

I hereby solemnly swear to honor, uphold, and respect the Wisconsin cheese pairing tenets set forth by “CheeseCupid.com.” I humbly agree to refrain from endorsing and / or acknowledging unions that woefully unite a cheese and a beverage deemed noncomplementary to one another and potentially noxious to innocent and unsuspecting taste buds. I pledge to experiment with new and unique pairings in a manner respectful to both the culinary arts and the Licensed Cheesemakers of Wisconsin. I hereby PROMISE to employ my pairing wisdom and expertise for good and not evil. So help me Cheese Cupid.

Day three is a wrap.

Six more burgers sculpted and photographed today. That's 15 in the can and we are halfway done. Amazing work by all involved – thank you. This blogger smells like a cheeseburger and needs a shower. Good night.

Making of the Crabby Patty

Tom makes the patty while Christina gives her support.

A quick trip to hell and back.

Christina perfects the crab walk.

Tom prays at the burger alter.

Vanessa makes a rough comp minus the cheese.

The burger goes into light and makeup.

The viewing.

This is a good one folks.

The train keeps on rolling. 12 completed.

For the record: Vanessa is Fun!

Vanessa is worried that my photos have portrayed her as being too intense. Just wanted to let everyone know Vanessa is funny as hell. That is all.

Say hello to my little friend. Burger 10.

Our back up egg soaking in the secret solution.

Feels like something you should eat after herding cattle.

Around the studio on day two.

The well oiled machine.

Brie waiting to shine.

Vanessa gets started on another sandwich.

Matt from WMMB – the resident cheese expert.

Tom and Christina rock it all day.

Big props to Sandy for the amazing job shopping on this project. Including finding the illusive 8oz cans of butane.

The Maestro.

Day two is a wrap.

Day two yielded six cheeseburgers in the can which puts us ahead of schedule. Nine down and 21 to go. We are getting a nice variety between shots and the styling is very unique and fresh on each sandwich. Everyone is wiped and ready for a good nights rest.

Size Matters

Five whole inches of deliciousness. Meet King Kong, Big Bubba or maybe The Brittney. A very ambitious day of shooting. We are creating three burgers that have double patties. It takes around 35 minutes to create one patty. Tom makes four individual patties for each of these burgers. That's seven hours of burger creation alone. Not to mention all the ingredient prep work and of course the sandwich sculpting. Job well done.

Vanessa admires her creation.

There's no "i" in team.

The burger prep is getting a little competitive between Tom & Christina. Vanessa trumps all however. Shoot is going great.

A look at the first six.
