That's a Wrap!

Photographing 30 unique cheeseburgers in 5-1/2 days is no small feat. This crew definitely brought their "A" game and knocked it out of the park. It's been an amazing process to watch and I hope this blog has helped you be a part of it. I have been reminded and inspired by how hard freelancers come in and work. We've had a lot of laughs but believe me this group is all business. Thanks again Scott, Vanessa, Christina, Sandie, Tom, Mike, Dave, Matt, and Jill for a job well done. Shine on!

30 Cheeseburgers on the Wall

We are tweaking a couple of recipes. The finish line is in sight.
Three burgers prepped, styled and photographed by 1 p.m.

Pepper cole slaw.

Terra chips.

The fixers.

The fixings.

They refuse to tell me why they do this to all the sauces.

Christina is getting too quick with disposing of things that are just slightly over cooked.

Are you hungry yet?

Say it with me. Sauerkraut, Corned Beef, Swiss Cheese, Beef Patty, Thousand Island on Grilled Dark Rye. :)

Vanessa's perspective.

Scott can also control the Hubble Telescope from his workstation.

Sandy does the Monday morning roll call.

Tom who??

Sixth and Final Day

Good morning Cheeseburger Nation! It's the sixth and final day of photography and the smell of frying ground beef is in the air. Tom is gone today but certainly not forgotten. Replacing him is Jill. She is a Michigan native and is currently sorting out the perfect strands of sauerkraut. Christina just fried her first patty and it looks perfect. Whew. Sandwich No. 27 is under construction.

Day five almost a wrap.

We are building the 27th and final burger burger of the week. This leaves only three burgers for Monday with possibly one do over. Tom has fried his final patty for us and I'm thinking of having it bronzed for my desk. Big kudos to the entire team for all of their hard work and for being such good sports with my constant blogging. Have a great weekend everyone.

We are missing Tom already.

The kitchen is getting very sentimental this afternoon as Tom is booked for another job on Monday and will not be returning. Watching Tom craft a hamburger patty is like watching a fine jeweler cut a rare diamond. Tom is an amazing talent and I am so thankful for all of his hard work this week. Don't worry Tom, all of your trade secrets are safe with us.

Christina will be assuming all patty responsibilities on Monday. I thinks she's ready.

So Gouda!

Two more burgers photographed this morning with the third about to go on set. I nibbled on some Wisconsin Aged Gouda about an hour ago and my taste buds are still thanking me for it. Hats of to all involved in the Wisconsin Dairy industry.

Vanaessa and company are getting used to having their pictures taken on this project. Scott has also joined the paparazzi ranks.

Randy "THE RAM" Robinson

I cringe every time Christina, Tom, or Vanessa fire up the deli slicer. Anyone who has seen the movie The Wrestler will know what I mean.

Our Morning Ritual: Fresh Juice

Happy May Day cheeseburger fans. Vanessa brought along her coveted Jack LaLannes's Power Juicer to this job and we have been treated to fresh juice ever morning. What a great way to start the day.

Day four is a wrap.

We ended the fourth day of photography and added our 21st cheeseburger to the wall. It's hard for the average blog reader to understand how much and how hard of work this is. The team sort of hit a wall this afternoon. Noticing that everyone was starting to drag, Scott quickly fired up the Ukrainian pop music. Vanessa broke out her dance moves including, The BeyoncĂ©, The Robot, The Moon Walk and a few I haven't yet identified. Needless to say we finished the day very strong.

Kitchen or Meth Lab?

At the speed this crew cranks out sandwiches, the kitchen starts to resemble a meth lab at around 4 p.m. each day. Scott and Sandie spend a couple of hours cleaning every night so we are ready to roll in the morning. Thanks for all the elbow grease guys.

Vanessa offers Christina some constructive feedback on the danger of starting fires in the oven and burning the garlic.

4-1/2 Pounds of Love

Imagine the weight if this baby was a full build.

Watching Vanessa and Tom work on set is like watching a episode of M.A.S.H.

Tom's nickname for the day is "The Macho Nacho."

It's a rainy day at the Cheeseburger Factory.

Making good progress. We finished the pizza burger and an onion burger this morning. Vanessa is building "The Big One" as we speak. Andrea is getting a ton of work done – some sort of billing worksheets.

Pizza Burger. Check.

Onion Burger. Check.

The Flavors of Thursday Morning

Day three is a wrap.

Six more burgers sculpted and photographed today. That's 15 in the can and we are halfway done. Amazing work by all involved – thank you. This blogger smells like a cheeseburger and needs a shower. Good night.

Making of the Crabby Patty

Tom makes the patty while Christina gives her support.

A quick trip to hell and back.

Christina perfects the crab walk.

Tom prays at the burger alter.

Vanessa makes a rough comp minus the cheese.

The burger goes into light and makeup.

The viewing.

This is a good one folks.
